Get a Bikini Body

 Bikini Body

Have you seen 'Bikini-ready'? Who's judging?' by CATHERINE SAINT LOUIS

I market pain free weight loss products for people who  have tried dieting, pills and potions to get a bikini body, but just can not lose the weight, like what happened to Tanya above.

Do you know anyone who might like to know about those type of products?

Do you desire to get a bikini body?  Do you want to torture yourself with a starvation diet or arduous workout plan in order to have that perfect bikini body this summer?  If your answer is yes. You are not alone, thousands of people are and will be doing so.

“Bikini-ready? Who’s judging,” Is the title of an article, reprinted here in the Seattle Times, by Catherine Saint Louis. Catherine, wrote, "Skin Deep: As our culture increasingly enshrines physical perfection, the bikini has come to inspire dread and awe."

Should women torture themselves, every spring in order to get a  bikini body for summer?  What do you think?  According to Catherine Saint Louis, “every spring, as sure as cherry blossoms bloom, so does the notion that women should diet, exercise and even liposuction their way to bikini-ready bodies.”

I found Catherine’s article originally printed in the New York Times interesting and hilarious. She wrote that, “Magazines like Shape and Self reinforce the idea that preparation is essential, with months-long bikini body countdowns (100-calorie snack tips included) and workout DVDs like “Bikini Ready Fast!” as if the beach reveal were a test on par with the MCAT and only a slacker would settle for a one-piece.”

Bikini-ready and get a bikini body is now Big Business, a niche in the weight loss world.  At first it was just weight loss, but now it is weight loss-bikini ready.  Catherine points out that, “The bikini has become the star of several fear-inspiring marketing campaigns.

Yes you read that right.  They are installing fear in women now to get a bikini body.

A recent advertisement for Yoplait Light features an itsy-bitsy yellow-and-red polka dotted bikini hanging on a wall as a future award for the diligent yogurt eater.”  You may have seen the ads.  It lead to more aggressive ads campaign worth millions for bikini body.

Catherine also points out that, “Nivea has a Goodbye Cellulite, Hello Bikini! Challenge, which prods women to slim down and buy its products. Nivea also sponsors the Cosmopolitan Magazine Bikini Bash, which last year involved 100 lithe dancers in blue-and-white ruffled bikinis tossing their hair violently to the Midi Mafia's song "Two-Piece" in front of 1,000 attendees at the Planet Hollywood resort in Las Vegas.

The two male singers of "Two-Piece," fully clothed, belted, "You all look like models off the cover of Cosmo."”

So what are people paying to have a bikini body? Catherine has the following two examples. “Amansala, a "bikini boot camp," in Ibiza, Spain, and Tulum, Mexico, sells six-night stays starting at $1,875.”  That can be an awesome adventure.  You can come back from such a trip with a bikini body and fully tanned.

Ah-ha! She points out a visit to a publicized doctor Levine visit about getting a  bikini body in New York.  “This month, when I visited the doctors, at the end of the interview, I hoisted my shirt, pointed to the crepey skin under my bellybutton, and grabbed a pinch of fat that wasn't there before childbirth, back in my triathlete days.

The Levines' prescription: liposuction, a skin-tightening procedure, or a tummy tuck, which costs $10,000, with a painful recovery.” “It might just be cheaper to gain a fresh perspective.”

Ohhhh! Yes. A $10,000.00 procedure.  Is it worth it?  To some people it is. For some with the money it is the easy way out.

Maybe it is just me.  But, I agree with Catherine that,   “It might just be cheaper to gain a fresh perspective.”  And yes, I found, what could quite possibly be that cheaper perspective to get a bikini body, with less stress and pain free.
